Party House aka Todd's House was perhaps the environment we were most worried about lighting. It has purely dynamic flickering lighting, needed to affect the environment in a specific way, the fog and 2D. On top of that it has a few transparency around and further more its a tight space to the overlapping light and shadow increases the cost. If you then include the fog it also increases the cost further making it challenging to keep it within the frame rate requirements. At the end it ended up being easier than I thought with a few iteration to test what color palette worked well and getting help from tech to create a system to blink that many dynamic light and so on. Obviously, I cheated like nothing before to make this scene work.
